It lies in the harbour of El Terrón, in the municipality of Lepe (Huelva), at the mouth of the river Piedras, at 5 miles from the CN-431 from Seville to Ayamonte and at 15 miles from Isla Cristina. It regards a small port with accessibility problems caused by the shallow sandbank of the river Piedras, which is formed by the strong coastal dynamics on that stretch of coast and the moving sea beds which form at the tip of the arrow of Nueva Umbría. Its cobbled ground covered with nets invites for a very special walk along the sea. From this enclave one can contemplate part of the protected natural site Marismas del Río Piedras y Flecha de Nueva Umbría. Here you can savour seafood and fish from the coast in its hospitable bars and restaurants. Lovers of night life and hip music will be able to find something of their liking here. We have 300 members’ vessels moored between the marshlands and the anchoring buoys.
