The origin of these celebrations dates back to the 19th century, when the town was awarded a trade fair. Over the years the commercial aspect was lost, but its festive part remained. It is celebrated on 14, 15 and 16 August. On the 15th, a procession is held through the streets of the centre with Our Lady of La Bella, the village’s patron saint, where she is accompanied by thousands of inhabitants of Lepe and visitors. On the 16th, the Scouts of Lepe carry St. Roch, patron of the town, in a procession. During these festive days a great festival is held in the centre of town with musical performances, dance, popular stands and amusement rides. Parallel with these festivities the football tournament of La Bella is held.
